Meet Dr. Emily Nitta

Joining us July 2022

We are excited to announce a new addition to Frisco Dentistry for Kids!

While teaching at Texas A&M College of Dentistry, Dr. Kelli met Dr. Emily Nitta (Neat-a).  After several of her visits to our office, Dr. Kelli and Dr. Ty knew she would be a great fit for our practice.

Dr. Emily Nitta was raised in Denton, TX.  A longtime youth volunteer, she has actively served kids through church programs, academic tutoring, and even as the coach of a girl’s running team. Dr. Nitta knew from an early age that she was interested in dentistry and her passion for working with kids inspired her to specialize as a pediatric dentist.

Education

Dr. Nitta graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Human Biology. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Texas A&M College of Dentistry. A top graduate of her class, she earned membership to the Odontological Honor Society and Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.

Dr. Nitta completed her two-year pediatric dental residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry in association with Texas Scottish Rite Hospital and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas, in June 2022. Throughout her residency she has worked extensively with Dr. Kelli. You may have even met her in our office during one of her many visits. Dr. Nitta loves all things outdoors and enjoys working out, cycling, hiking, trying new recipes, and traveling.
